Language is an ornament of the culture. To protect one’s culture and religion language just be promoted and protected. With similar views Shivshakti group was set up by Shri Suraj Setpal Maharaj in 2013. Founded in Nashik, the charitable organization commenced with the mission to promote unity and religious integrity in Sindhi Community. Since last 10 years Shivshakti group has bought many note worthy changes in socio-cultural of enviornment of Sindhi Community. The group aims to educate the people on values of Hindu religious and Spirituality.
The group conducts charitable events. In 2013, first time in Nashik, Mahashivratri was celebrated on community level. The huge success of the Mahashivratri inspired SSG further to celebrate more festivals thereafter.
Grand Celebration of Tulsi Vivah, Makar Sankranti, Ram Navami, Prabhat Pheri, Deep Mahotsav, Navartri Bhajan Sandhya etc were conducted for the first time in Nashik by SSG. Moreover, 2018 first of its kind “Sindhi Food Festival” are organized by SSG.
Understanding the importance of Healthcare provision of quality healthcare has been focus area for SSG. The group has successfully organized Mega Medical checkup, Blood donation camps in Nashik, Maharashtra
To spread joint message of unity and exercise, for the first time in “Run for Sindhi unity” was organized by SSG. After its noteworthy success, the group came up with many innovative ideas for social activities.
For the first time ever “Ride of Unity – Cyclothon” and cricket Box Premier league were organized. Such activities have broader participation of all age groups & better social connectivity. The active participation in this events has not only helped the community to grow on its core values of unity but also created awareness about social and spiritual harmony.
As a remarkable move towards social cause SSG has established Radiology and Pathology lab in Nashik for providing health checkup facilities at barely reasonable rates. In Feb 2022, Acupressure therapy center has also been setup.
Charity in any form gets back much more that what you give. In addition to monetary funding, we also welcome individuals who want to invest their time with us, Its not what to invest their time with us, Its not what we have matter but what we can offer to socity. As the famous saying goes,
