Sporting events bring people together; children, men, women, fitness freaks are drawn to a common cause. Shivshakti group Nashik which aims to create unity among Sindhi community, has been conveying the health benefits of physical activities to the society through various events it conducts. This year SSG is organizing its 2nd Sindhi Women’s Box Cricket League on Sunday, 17th April 2022.
The event has two sides. One is the sports side, and the other, softer side is creating feeling of oneness and promoting importance of charity amongst the people. As a game cricket teaches us team- work and co-ordination. No one is indeed perfect but as a team, with right efforts we can achieve success. Different qualities for different individuals can be used while working in a team.
Women, being rightly stated as epitome of sacrifice, never actually come out of their houses when it comes to exploring their true endeavours. Keeping family always on her priority, a woman hardly finds time for her own self. Women’s Box cricket league is a opportunity for ladies to come and explore their talents and socialize with other women. SSG believes a woman has capability to achieve anything that she aspires to. SSG summons this event for greater good of women.
